Every caring parent has those times when they worry if they are doing things right. Having self-doubt now and then is a sign that you care about how well you are parenting - and that's a good thing, right?

I am not the most creative mom in world, nor am I super fun, nor do I spoil them with everything they ask for, nor do I have patience with them 24/7 - And for those reasons somtimes I feel like a bad mom.

BUT, my kids know I love them, and they know that there's no other place I'd rather be than with them. And that is why I'm doing a good job being a mom. Kids are so resilient and they forget things that you've said, or things you didn't do that you promised to do, etc. But as long as they know they are loved by you, then you're doing a good job.
